We like it
I finally purchased a glider to use with the new baby. After going to a couple stores and taking a look at the 200-300 and even 400 dollar ones we decided to go with this basic glider to save money for christmas and other necessities.So far I have had it assembled 2 weeks and use it many times during the day to nurse and read books. The bottom cushion is a bit hard but honestly this glider is well worth the money if you are on a budget don't feel bad about getting this one over the more expensive ones. It is pretty and does the job just fine.When it arrived there was a huge rip in the box and the outer corner of the glider was exposed. Thankfully it was packed with foam around the corners and did not sustain any damage.Assembly was quite easy and the glider bottom comes assembled, the ottoman is completely assembled. So it was 8 screws I believe, to assemble this and my DH had it done in about 20 minutes.It has a nice warm finish and...

Great quality for the price
I bought this glider in the espresso/beige for my son's nursery. It is big, soft, cushiony, and looks nice. I like that with these colors I can use it in another room once we don't have a nursery anymore. Quality-wise, it is just about as good as my $600 custom made Dutalier glider that's in my daughter's nursery.

Solid and comfortable glider for the price--looks great too!
It took my wife and I a lot of searching to find the glider that was right for us. With warnings about ordering online from Target due to the potential nightmare delays that they have, we opted to order through Amazon. We wanted to spend less than $200 and we were hoping for something that was great quality and looked nice too. I believe that we found everything we were looking for in the Stork Craft Tuscany Glider. Having something in Espresso was a must, and there are not too many gliders out there in Espresso in this price range. We paid $190 for it shipped. I also wasn't about to pay $50-$75 dollars in shipping. We live in California, and the product shipped from Washington State in about 3 days. Once shipped, it only took 4 days to get to us, which I think is pretty quick. The chair came with very simple instructions to follow, and all of the pieces and hardware fit nicely together. I was able to set it up while talking on the phone with my wife...which says a lot...

Love it!
I spent months searching for a new glider/ottoman combo for our new baby, because I wanted a quality chair for less than $200. Found it!I trusted other reviewers who said this chair was comfortable and was especially sold by its larger dimensions. It took very little time to assemble and matches our other espresso furniture from another company. I plan to nurse in this chair and, at a heavy 9 months pregnant and 5'4", find the arms to be the perfect width and height for it! I can also firmly plant both feet on the ground, which was important. The height of the back of the chair could be a little taller like other chairs, but it is definitely supportive enough in the lower back and high enough for me to rest my head and sleep if necessary. The gliding mechanism is just as they say, very long and smooth- there's no wiggle room in it!I am so glad I didn't throw away an extra 3 or 4 hundred dollars on another chair! This one is perfect!

Great glider, great value
We bought this for me to nurse the baby, and my husband has taken it over! It's easy to assemble - I put it together by myself while I was very pregnant. It shipped well and arrived without any dings. It's solid construction, and the finish is more durable than what we saw at the high end baby stores. We thought that for the price of the designer chairs we viewed, we could replace this one several times if it broke. But, it's really well made, quickly wipes clean, and glides well. I'm really happy with this purchase.

I think one will easily tell the difference between this glider and more expensive ones. It's clearly not as luxurious but one should realize that you get what you pay for.There was a smell typical of new products so we aired this out for 1-2 weeks in a room with a fan and an open window.If you don't want to spend more than $200 this is a pretty good glider to consider.We're happy with it.Update 10-14-2010: One thing I don't like about this glider is the exposed wood at the front of the arm rests. If a baby suddenly moves it head backward its head could hit the hard wood. I now put folded receiving blankets to cover up the wood.

Comfy and worth the money
This glider is terrific for breastfeeding and chilling out with the baby. It's very smooth, comfortable, and looks decent, too. I would recommend shelling out for this more expensive and plumper-cushioned one, since you need all the cushioning you can get after birth and in the high-repetition on-demand breastfeeding schedule. One word of warning: the company ships these things in the cheapest, flimsiest box EVER and they can get damaged, so inspect CAREFULLY (the damage will probably be evident from both outside and inside the box, if you know what I mean) and snap photos and contact customer service to get replacement parts/pieces. Unfortunately, our ottoman was badly cracked in transit and the glider was dinged and a plastic piece that locks the unit was broken. We asked for a replacement for the ottoman but just for the broken part for the glider. It came without too much delay, but what a hassle. If it was all broken you'd have to ship it back...what a huge huge pain. But I do...

Wonderful Purchase!!!
We purchased this chair after trying out less expensive chairs at Babies R Us. My husband and I scoured the internet as well as did in store research before making this purchase. Aside from our crib and dresser this was the third most expensive item we purchased for our nursery and we wanted to make a good choice. We have NOT been disappointed. The chair is very comfortable. My husband is 6'2, with a muscular build and he fits in the chair very comfortably, and subsequently loves the chair. I'm much smaller and the cushioning is wonderful! We love the color, and style of the chair as well. The color of the fabric could easily match with any decor as it's slightly off white. The chair was also easy to put together. Considering we purchased this on sale, we feel like we got an EXCELLENT deal. Couldn't be happier. We were worried about the locking mechanism but haven't had any issues with it yet. Would definitely recommend this to friends and family.

Not bad for the money.
Bought this glider/ottoman combo for my wife as she is expecting our first child. We looked around a few stores at their glider's and weren't exactly thrilled with what we saw. Some were rather expensive for what you got, and others weren't very comfortable.We decided that since there wasn't one we saw that we just had to have, that we might as well look online and find the best value. This glider assembled easily and looks good, we really like the espresso finish. I am definitely no fan of the micro-fiber, but there aren't a lot of other options for gliders. My wife really enjoys it, and she's the one it's for, so her opinion counts the most. She is 5'4" and fits her very well. It has grown on me, but is a bit narrow and I would prefer a slightly taller back (I'm only 5'10", so might be a problem for taller people). The locking mechanism is actually a nice feature and works well. We did try some that reclined that in retrospect was a nice feature that this glider does...

Very happy! Great chair!
Day one- So far this glider ottoman is a great buy. It arrived in a large box. The box contained the padding, two very small packages of screws and hex wrenches, and two wooden rocker bases. The directions are straight forward and simple to use. Consisting of three pages with 6 steps. I assembled it in around ten minutes and it feels great. The wooden pieces came protected with foam padding and bubble wrap. The packaging and all materials were very clean. I found a few nicks on one corner, but it isn't visible unless closely inspected. My wife is very comfortable in this chair. It has plenty of room for breastfeeding. I will update this. So far, five stars!UPDATE- The chair is a great chair for the price. It has plenty of room for breastfeeding. The chair has held up great to the kids climbing on it, extensive use, etc. It doesn't squeak or make any sounds after heavy use. Comfortable and affordable
This is a great glider that can fit into most spaces. My son and I spend lots of time reading on it and cuddling. Its comfortable and easy to clean. I would not recommend it, though, for nursing as it is too small. By the time my son reached 12 mos it was slightly uncomfortable and the 2 of us plus the Boppy were cramped. If you are not going to frequently nurse, its a great glider.
