Our guinea pig just loves this hay!
It was recommended when we got our guinea pig to feed him Timothy Hay as a part of his daily diet. We had originally gotten Oxbow and our guinea pig loved it. When we visited a different pet store, they did not have Oxbow, so we opted to try another brand - thinking: what could the difference be if it's just hay? Let me tell you, it's a HUGE difference. The hay was course and brittle, and our little guinea pig was so unhappy with it. That being said we found a good deal on this 9lb bag and hoped that the Oxbow awesomeness would be a repeat experience - and it totally was. Our guinea pig literally jumps up and down when we put the hay in his pen every morning. The hay is softer, fresh, and just seems overall like a better quality. We will always buy Oxbow from now on.

Great for my rabbits
When I first got my rabbits, I just went to Petco to do all my shopping. I would get the Kaytee timothy hay, which did seem a little dried out to me but I didn't know any better. I bought this recently and as soon as I opened the bag, the differences were astounding. It smells, feels, and looks fresher. My rabbits have been happily munching this almost nonstop. If you want the best for your bun, I would definitely recommend paying a little extra for this stuff.

Best Hay Around
I have a guinea pig that loves her some hay. I had been getting her timothy hay from the pet store, but I kept noticing that she would only eat the softer hay and most of the bag was harder hay. The hay was so hard and brittle that it would often get stuck in her fur and poke her. Wanting to keep my piggy happy I searched for a softer, more high quality hay. I ordered the oxbow on a whim and I have never fed her any other type of hay since. This hay is so soft and fresh, my piggy eats every bit of it. None of it is below her standards, and trust me, she is a picky eater! Even when you open the bag, the smell of the hay is so refreshing, it smells kind of like fresh tea leaves. I never noticed this from the other hay from the pet store. This hay has made a huge difference to my pig, especially since it is so vital for her health and plus she just loves to eat it. Do your pet a favor and buy this hay!

My bunnies love it!
My pet bunnies drink Brita filtered water, eat fresh salads from the grocery store, and munch Oxbow Western Timothy Hay. Forget the fancy hay mangers. Take a brown paper lunch bag, roll the top halfway down, and stuff it full of hay. Place the bag anywhere that your pet can find it. oxbow timothy hay
This is the brand of hay my vet recommends for my rabbits, Timothy hay is an important part of a rabbits diet. If I run out of this brand and have to substitute another my rabbits respond accordingly, they eat more of this brand than any other.

This is the best for your bunnies!
We have a 10 yr. old bunny and I chalk up her longevity to Oxbow Hay and pellets. This is the best hay we have ever tried! It's even greener than other hays. Our bunny just loves to eat this and burrow in it. That alone should tell you how good it is!

Big Box of Hay. Well packed and shipped nicely.My two rabbits eat this hay all day long.The Buns love it as it is so fresh.I try to only give the Oxbow products to our buns.Vets reccomend their line of excellent products.

Guinea pig owner
My piggies just gobble up Oxbow timothy hay! I used to get Kaytee and Petco brands, but there was always a lot of straw leftover in the cage that the girls refused to eat. Oxbow has more of the soft grass than the other two that my piggies like.

Best Hay For My Piggies
I've given my guinea pigs other brands of hay and this is definitely what they prefer, other brands they have eaten some and then left the hard stalks behind, but there is none of that in the Oxbow brand. I also recommend their pellets. Best nutrition for your guinea pig.

Only the best for my guinea pigs!
Oxbow timothy hay is the best product you can give your guinea pigs. They love it and any time I open the door the the cubbert, they all come running to the edge of their hutch "wheeking"! As I pile it in for them, their all running and popping in anticipation of eating their favorite treat. I have 13 guinea pigs so cost of supplies is important to me. With Oxboy hay I buy the 50 lb bale so this means I get it for less than $2.00 a pound!! Not to mention it's delivered by UPS right to my door.I've tried buying Timothy Hay from local farmers by the bale and the quality of their hay is never consistant. I also have to load the messy bale into my car then, clean the mess up after bringing it home. I also know that there other hays, weeds and who knows what in the bale along with the timothy hay. Another problem with buying from the local farmers is I never know it they will have it to sell. If they've had a small crop they don't like to sell just one or two bales to...

This hay will last you a long time.
I bought this hay for my rabbit and the bag is pretty huge (well for 50 lbs). I highly recommend it to anyone that owns more than 1 pet at home.
