Nice but smaller than I thought
I was attracted to this map because of it's write on wipe off ability. Also thought it would be nice that it would stick where I wanted it. But when it got here it was smaller than I hoped but still useable for our family schooling. Also, note that it won't stick to flat painted walls so we placed it on a wide cabinet where it stays just fine. I am thrilled that I can write on it then wipe off.Over all 4 stars.

Excellent, quality map
This map is of very high quality (by National Geographic, so it has to be good!) It shows the major roads running through each state and very easy to read.....also very pleasing color scheme. Highly recommended!

Great Map
I bought this for my 86 year old mother so she could follow my son who works for a trucking company and goes all over the USA... she loves to be able to follow where he is and where he is going. She uses the dry erase markers and can wipe it off when he is on his next trip... She doesn't got out a lot but is able to see the country she loves through my son!!! Thanks for a great map!!!!

Exactly as described
The map was exactly what I was looking for. I bought it to hang on our Sunday School wall to help the children see where missionaries we support are working. It is colorful and looks nice. I was confused by some reviews that said it came in multiple pieces. It came in one piece and was easy to hang on the wall.

World Map
The map came through amazon in a big box with lots of packing so there wasn't a dent on it. The map itself is very nicely laminated. Since we are a military family I bought it to help my daughter understand that all of our family live in different places and sometimes daddy is on the other side of the world. The lamination allows us to put pictures of family near there locations and move them around when need be. Wish the land areas were a little bigger but no big deal. It serves its purpose well.

Beautiful Map
I purchased for 5 year old. I recommend it over a globe because it is much bigger and everything is easy to see and distinguish. This map has nice deep colors and really decorates a bedroom hanging on the wall. My child touches it and pulls her fingers across it and no fingerprints or damage. Good quality map and a great learning tool. Nice for children and adults.

Great Map
I bought this map for my office wall. With everything going on in the world today I like to know where things are happening & this map is great for locating areas being discussed in the news. The map is durable, attractive & current. My only negative is that it may be out of date before the life of the actual map...oh well, then I will buy a new one!

Crisp, clear printing with gorgeous colors
I am very pleased with this product. The map arrived when promised, in excellent condition in a strong cardboard tube. It is not stiff paper (nor did I expect it to be) and I recommend that you plan to mount the paper on a backing. We used spray glue to mount it to foam core and we plan to use 1/4-inch dot stickers to mark locations on the map (note that a color other than red would be good for that use -- the capital cities are marked in red squares by the size of population). Cork board would be nice if you plan to use push pins to mark locations. Note also that if you want to frame the map you should measure it exactly. While the listed measurements state that it is 48x77, ours measured 48 1/16 by 78 1/8. This was not a problem and even if you planned for 48x77 there is a white border that would allow for some adjustment of the final size.

Good detail
The map is a political map with good boundaries and city population markings and excellent geographic detail. The paper is very flimsy, however, and is a bit thinner then a piece of notebook paper.
