Perfect
I was a little concerned that it would be to small but it's perfect. I submitted a couple pictures to Amazon as well showing the end result. I couldn't be more pleased. It sticks to the car with double sided adhesive that's already applied to the back of the emblem. Just clean and dry the surface real good and then stick and hold for 10 seconds. The inside of the emblem is black like the picture shows. This will enhance its visibility.

Big and chunky bumper 'sticker'
I was tired of having religious folks ring my doorbell early morning to preach at me. I have a 'no soliciting' sign right below the bell but that seemingly doesn't deter them, with the most recent chap saying he wasn't soliciting anything with a smug grin on his face. I don't care what religion you follow that's just plain rude after all he was soliciting my opinion wasn't he? So I bought this comedic accent piece and stuck it below the no soliciting sign. Since then all has been thankfully quiet.It's well made and chunky and comes with double sided tape already attached. The message it portrays is clear and I'd recommend it if you too are being bothered as I was. Of course, it's designed to go on a car bumper but do check the dimensions - it's pretty tall and sturdy and if your bumper is rounded you may find it doesn't make full adhesive contact as I really can't see you being able to bend this around. Quality!
This T-Rex is surprisingly strong. After having taken it through car washes and heavy hail, it sticks on firmly and looks as new as when I bought it. Worth it.

Does the job.
This item works OK. My only complaint would be the plastic locks that hold the partitions together would be better if made of metal. They are too flexable and may not be too functional over time. Otherwise it does the job.

More complicated to use than I thought...
One thing that wasn't clear to me before I bought this was how the GPS receiver actually attaches to this bracket (though you can see it on the picture if you know what your looking for). To attach it you have to remove the nice rubberized battery cover that came with your receiver with a new hard plastic battery cover that mates to this bracket. My problem is that I also use a garmin belt clip attachment (010-10380-00) and they aren't compatible. So, I have to change the battery cover back and forth depending if I want car mount, or the belt clip. Not very handy for geocaching, where you are in and out of your car and want to clip the GPS onto your belt. It's a shame...with a little better engineering from garmin, they could have designed something universal.

Mission Adequate
I found the plastic arm to be a bit flexible. And when using the GPS unit (punching buttons) I find that I need to hold the back of the GPS unit to push the "click stick". I was thinking of using the "removable" adhesive to switch back and forth between two cars, but the adhesive is pretty much one use only. I'm a bit annoyed that if I want the weighted auto base (the friction mount) I have to buy this to get the arm, and then buy the base separetely.It is pretty adjustable and I have found good positions in the two cars I tried, a hatchback and a small SUV (but using the weighted base). Although I am finding that I have to compromise between being able to see the unit and reception (more a fault of the GPS unit IMHO, since a Gecko 201 in the same mount, same postion, has no problems.)

Great value
Based solely on the price and value/price ratio, I should give it 5 stars.Based on the product in comparison with the $100+ barriers, it would probably be 3.5 stars.So I gave it 4 and here's why: it was placed in a VW GTI MKV (2009) with a fairly small trunk area. This means that it is hardly extended. It is meant to hold back a 14 month, 85 pound lab which wants to be close to the driver, possibly in his or her lap.Pros:- fits well and would probably extend and fit a Hummer or Ford Excursion.- in lower cars (smaller vertical distance to cover - such as mine), the bars are closer together and there is less space for the "monster" to try to make room with his or her nose- 24.99 was the price, instead of 129.99 - the price of a dog barrier specifically made for my car, or other cars- with one exception - fairly decent construction (see cons)- can be used in all SUV/hatchback cars, so if you buy a new car or have 2+ cars, it...
