Very good TV for the price.The sound is better than most.
I am a maintenance director at a nursing home and I buy 32 inch LCD's for resident rooms.I have purchased about 6 different brands from Amazon in the past 9 months.I like this one the best and plan on only buying these from now on.This unit has an excellent picture with good black level's for an LCD.The sound on it is very good for a flat panel.There is a much better amount of clear bass and treble compared to the other brands that I have purchased.I like the fact that it has an SD card slot on the side.That makes it very easy for someone to show photos.SD seems to be taking over as the required memory in camera's.It doesn't have a USB slot which would have been nice.

Awesome for the price
I wanted a 2nd TV for our less often used family space in our lower level. My only requirements were that it be reasonably priced, at least 32", and interface with my older DVD player with component connections, and my older VCR with composite connections (yes, my kids still watch the occasional VHS movie). Frankly I didn't care if it was internet connectable for Netflix, or had a specific refresh rate. After viewing a bunch of TVs and brands side by side at my local "Good Purchase" store, including generic knock-off brands, it was clear this model of Panasonic simply had the best picture for the price. The contrast, colors, and view-ability of the IPS panel really stood out against other TVs in this price range. After checking Amazon, Amazon had the lowest price anywhere. The box came with a hole in the side, but I guess that is not necessarily the fault of Amazon. Still the TV is not double-boxed when shipped, so fortunately whatever made the hole did not get through far...

Very nice budget HDTV
Just received mine today. Was quite easy to set up once I figured out the stand slides into a panel at the bottom of the TV. I own a Panasonic 42" and set this one to the same settings since there are no real calibrations posted online yet since it's a newer model. It looks very good and comparable to the 42". Black/night scenes seem a little soft but it's nothing to really complain about.Pros:Price ($343 1 day shipping)Sound Quality - I was replacing a 2007 Sony LCD and this sound blows the other away. I did hook it up to external speakers but the sound out of the box is not bad at all.Picture Quality - If 720p is fine for you you should have no problems with this TV. Comparing AppleTV to Roku2 XS
I own both the new Apple TV (1080P/2012) model and the Roku2 XS. I found myself doing a side by side comparison of the two products and here are my findings.AppleTVPros: Works out of the box, minimum effort to setup, really easy to use interface + wifi. Can Restream old purchased episodes. Netflix App much cleaner and more superb. Streaming and buffering causes no delays or degradation of picture. This is an elegant and easy to use little box. The interface is pretty, setup is dead simple (took less than 10 minutes from start to finish), and it's fairly intuitive to use. The problem comes in that it doesn't serve a great deal of function, at least for me.Apple TV is essentially 3 main functions in one package. iTunes front end, content/channel provider, and wireless display.On the face of it, Apple TV is a front end for iTunes and allows you to buy or rent content and view it on the box along with previously purchased content. The usefulness of this is based on where you buy content. If it's not iTunes then you can ignore most of it. All the magic from this perspective is essentially gone for videos and even music doesn't work without iTunes Match. You can alternatively access your media from another computer currently running iTunes, but only the content in iTunes (not a huge issue) and again, only when the computer is on and running (think of it...

Bought this TV without prior viewing it in a store. TV has a very nice picture at all angles, we placed it in our kitchen under the cabinet and it it looks great, the slim design is perfect. Sound is very good. We had to replace a COBY brand 15" TV that was struck by lightning, what a great upgrade. I don't have anything negative to say.

Quality mount -- not cheap but low-cost (by design). Like it.
I was skeptical of this mount. Why should this be so cheap compared to other mounting kits? I ordered one (due to the price), and prepared to return it if I did not think the mount could handle the weight of the 52" LCD TV (Samsung).Once I got it, I understood the cost. Good low-cost design and built with solid heavy duty steel.- Two horizontal bars are load-bearing, and for proper VESA spacing, they have to be parallel and relative distance must be in the right tolerances. These are made of solid steel.- Two vertical bars (in the wall mount) are flimsey, and that's ok. it should be solid enough make a rectangle box w/ square angles. That's it.- Two vertical mounting (to the TV) brackets are of heavy duty metal. Making this in to two parts (not one), reduction of material, but also allows free horizontal adjustment on the TV mount.- By doing the above, the kit is small, uses less metal (and reduce shipping and material waste)...

Great TV Mount
The Cheetah mount is an incredible value. The mount is amazingly sturdy and very well built. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble the parts out of the box. Then another hour to mount the TV to the brick above our fireplace. I used 4 Quicktap blue masonry anchors to attach the mount to the wall, and it is so secure I could probably hang from the TV itself.I was also pleased to find that the mount included all of the hardware (bolts, washers, spacers) that you would need to mount almost any VESA compatible flat panel. Our TV is a 52 inch Samsung (750 series) and the bolts I needed were included.Overall, a great buy.

Just installed my 42" Plasma in our bedroom, and here's my take:This is actually a high-quality, very sturdy mount. When I took it out of the box, I was pleasantly surprised.Now, here is the REST of the story...The directions that come with this kit are mediocre at best. The pictures are vague, and only after wrangling with this pile of metal did I figure out how this thing is supposed to be assembled. First of all, the included drywall anchors are NOT drywall anchors at all -- they are masonry mollies, and won't work with standard residential drywall. Thanks for telling me before I put 4 gigantic holes in my wall, Cheetah!So if you're using this in your home, here's what you need to do: 1. Assemble the rack on the floor/table/bed/whatever, and make sure it is square. 2. Find the wall studs, and mark them lightly with a pencil. 3. Hold the mount up on the wall where you want it, and the make sure the holes (not the "obvious" 4 holes)...

Excellent overall TV
The set up is fairly easy although I found the manual to be lacking in more detail, especially concerning a better explanation of some of the features.The HD picture is just AWESOME and BEAUTIFUL. I did increase the "Sharpness" from 70 to about 90, but otherwise, left it on 'AUTO'. I thought the screen might be a little too big for my computer but I was totally wrong....it is just great! I do not have a HDMI connector for the PC, only the RGB, but it is still just outstanding. Hook-up was a matter of just connecting the plugs.The sound is better than good, but not great. (Below, you will see how I was able to improve it)I was going to give it 4 stars because the non-HD channels are just good, and acceptable; but, the more I look at it, I realize it is actually pretty good. Great TV For The Money
I must preface my review by saying I didn't buy the LG 450 online, I bought it at a big box store because they had a better price:I wanted an inexpensive TV for the bedroom and the LG 450 is a good choice, the picture quality is very good for it's price. I didn't need 120Hz so I saved $150 by buying the 60Hz model. The LG 450 has Expert ISF Settings so you can have it professionally calibrated or do it yourself, it has a built-in blue filter and calibration wizard. The ATSC tuner is very powerful because I get all the local stations OTA with an indoor antenna. This model is not internet enabled so you need a set top box to get Netflix, etc. As with all TV's the sound isn't great but it does have bass and treble controls. A pleasant surprise
I honestly didn't know what to expect. I bought this TV on sale at Best Buy for 100 dollars off. I was in the market for a new TV, actually my first TV purchase.After a week of use, I am very very pleased with my purchase.The picture quality is fantastic. Every aspect of the picture can be customized- how warm the picture is, brightness, gamma exposure, etc. Let me say, out of the box the picture was great, this options are more for if you are very particular.The sound quality is adequate. Not the absolute best, but it is a very solid TV. My dad's bravia's sound quality is a lot worse so I am thankful that this setup is good.As far as features are concerned- it has all of the standards (sleep timer, auto-on/off, etc). It is missing picture-in-picture but this seems almost irrelevant for the size of the TV.
