Sometimes you need these .... they work as good as Colace
This is the exact same stuff as Colace and you will save a bucketload of money if you use these frequently and don't mind an off-brand. There are many medications I buy generically, and this is one if them.This does exactly what it is intended to do. Soften things and and prevent the stress and strain of a hard or dry stool. Embarrassing topic? Not really, just a fact of life.If you take medicines such as narcotics or anti-depressants, your Doc might recommend Colace. This version works just as well and provides a good value.

They Work
They are stool softeners- and they do soften my stool. The price was much more reasonable than the drug store or super market. They don't expire until sometime in 2013 so there's plenty of time to use them.

The same as Colace at a fraction of the cost
These are docusate sodium 100mg capsules which is the active ingredient in colace. I've found that they work exactly the same and they are also the same size and shape, pretty easy to swallow. This is a much better deal then buying name brand. Docusate sodium is a stool softener - not a stimulant. This means that it just makes it easier to go, but it doesnt stimulate you to go. These are useful if you recently had surgery or are having trouble straining. Because its not a stimulant, its OK to take every day and you wont get "dependent" on them. Recommended dose is at 1-3 capsules daily.

Excellent!
I've been on pain killers for over a year due to complications from a frature and they are extremely constipating. I take 1 capsule 3 times a day, and you can not find them at this low price anywhere! I believe these are about 1/2 price of a pharmacy. And, they work safely!

A Real Price Beater
I need a high fiber diet plus a softener to keep things running smoothly and I haven't found another product that works as good as Dulcolax. I shopped around everywhere that I could think of and Amazon beat the price on all of them .. and delivery was fast and efficient..

Mild stool softener...
If you just have a mild constipation this will work for you. For me was different...after giving birth the constipation was a nightmare and the only product that worked is Phillips Laxative Caplets, 2 at night with NO cramps. Good luck!!
