Excel 2010 Formulas - Great Book!
Excel 2010 Formulas is a great book. I have learned a lot about how to work with Excel formulas. The background on the differences between Excel 2010 and older versions is very helpful, also. The author does not leave you hanging if you are still using older versions, he has included older versions of many of the formulas so the book is "backward compatible". You may find it helpful to skip ahead to the chapter on arrays before reading earlier chapters because some of the formulas use arrays. This should not be a problem unless you insist on reading strictly front to back.Very highly recommended. Top to learn more

Excel is Great, but is this a giant leap forward? No.
I bought it for the "sparklines" feature and was really shocked at how useless they were. There is only one way to use them, they lack any flexibility, and are like a jpeg, not a chart.Besides that, there isn't much new. I bought it because they said it fixed the bugs with VBA script and charting. Believe me, nothing has changed.Our business is going to freeware because the amount you have to pay for MS applications and the increasing lack of support for their products (not having a help file? Puulllleeeeaaase!!)lend me to want to go that way, even though I know I would have to have MS for some things.I'm tired of having to buy "Bibles" to figure out MS products, and then really having to do it myself in the end. I learn more on the internet than I do from MS, or Bibles.Buy it if you have to have the latest or greatest, but it's not much of an improvement over 2007 and it has even more compatability issues. They forced me into the 2010 version!
After taking 6 years to semi-master Excel 2003, my XP-Pro machine died & Mr. Gates "forced" me into up-dating to Excel 2010. If you need more than one Office component---seriously consider buying the Office Suite instead of the individual Programs. MS will essentially force-you, via "bundling" to buy Programs you may not want, need, or ever use, however, the bundled-price of the Officfe Suite is a better deal, over-all. For those of us "trained" on Ofice 2003, you will find many features identical & easy to use. You will, however, need "practice" on running Excel 2010--many useful features are hard-to-locate or have been combined with other features/preferences. (or just eliminated) If you want to bail on MS completely?--I strongly suggest OpenOffice aka LibreOffice. The time it takes to get-up-to-speed is similar...without the price of entry, in-play. Wonderful... with the full version key that is...
I came to Android from having had years worth of Windows phones. I liked writing stories on my phone and missed this ability in my new Android phone until I got this app. I wanted some easy way to keep my stories with me whether I was using my PC, my phone or my iPad. This application has a sister version for my iPad. Both allow me to sync with Google documents. (Android version requires full version key for this functionality) This allows me to put items in a single folder on my desk top and have them sync automatically with both my devices! I could not be more pleased with Docs To Go. That said I only use the word processing program so I can not vouch for any of the other programs in the suite. I don't use power point, excel or whatever the other things are. As a word processor it could use improved spell check however it is not as cumbersome as some other programs I have tried so I can live with learning to spell better on my own! Top to learn more

Put Docs 2 Go on my Xoom tablet. (Sync with Win7-64) Works for viewing but to edit, you must get the "Full Version Key". Here are some additional tips for Neatreceipts owners
My only concern is that the included scanner could be quicker. Other than that, the product is quite good. I don't particularly care for its contact management features, but others might.A little bit of background about me: I am a software developer for contact management add-ons for Outlook. As Neatreceipts uses MSDE for its backend database, I can actually tap into that database directly and integrate it better with my application.I primarily use it to scan business cards. I get a lot of business cards and it is critical to get them into my Outlook as quickly as possible. Neatreceipts actually is remarkably accurate at recognizing the text on most business cards.Neatreceipts also has features to automatically recognize text on colored background and how to combat the very light ink syndrome. Terrific timesaver
As a "road warrior", managing my travel expenses has always been a time-consuming chore. And the occasional lost receipt as well as non-billable expenses incurred while traveling (which are nevertheless tax-deductible)have probably cost me hundreds of dollars each year.I wondered whether this device would really be more effective than a regular photocopier/scanner and the answer has been a resounding YES. The software is very intuitive and it is now a snap to process all my receipts and develop my monthly expense reports. The software is very well designed and allows you to split receipts, drag and drop from one expense report to another and indicate whether an expense is personal or billable (which means I am now capturing ALL my travel expenses.)My only criticism is that there isn't a way to just manually enter expenses for tips. I work around that by creating a hand-written receipt for tips for each trip. Hopefully they'll address this in a future software... Top to learn more

OK, I read all the reviews on this product and still purchased one. Here is my scoop:This product fills a great little niche for those of us with home businesses that need some help keeping track of our expenses and contacts. But don't expect the world from this product. First, it hasn't been out that long, so yes, there is definate room for improvement. The scans sometimes don't work, and yes, the software does hangup sometimes. But considering what this product does for me, I can live with that. Also, the real beauty of this is the software it comes with that has some great reporting functions. You will be able to hand your tax preparer all your expenses in a tidy report.The reports alone will save me a ton of time. And I love the business card scanning.
