Perfect
Use for keeping cigars in pristine condition by blending 50/50 with distilled water and applying mixed solution to wet floral oasis. Keeps humidors at near perfect 68% humidity level. This PG is of the highest quality, which is what one wants when using for keeping cigars in good shape. It also prevents mold growth. I forget the scientific term, but PG acts to take excess humidity out of the air or adds it to air that's too dry. I've been using it for 20 plus years for my cigars. "Propylene glycol is a viscous, oily fluid which is commonly used in many products. We use it as an antifreeze in our solar water heating applications. Food grade propylene glycol contains inhibitors safe for drinking. If your system fails or leaks and mixes with your water supply, there is no need to worry about the effects from drinking it incase the leak is not discovered immediately. In the case of ethylene glycol, someone drinking the fluid risks the chances of poisoning and even death.
Propylene glycol also does not have as much corrosivity to metals as ethylene glycol and is better for the environment. It can be used as an antifreeze in many other applications such as automobiles and refrigeration.
Propylene Glycol should be mixed with water to avoid corrosive effects when used as an antifreeze. We recommend using no more than a 60% by weight solution in distilled water. Use the following table as a guide for your antifreeze application." Top to learn more
