This noodle is a true, Italian pasta. It is a noodle best used in dishes like, chicken and noodles.It has a super, "hold up", quality. It will absorb flavor, yet, remain independent and nice. It has a beautiful texture and color.It is something, "other", than the heavy, It is not the American farm style and good for a change. ooh yummy and it does not fall apart when cooking
taste delicious and I was surprised how much it helds its form even though I cooked it for 7 minutes and then cooked it further with the home made spicy tomato and shrimp sauce. I am not sure about it serving four - more like three, but then it could be we loved it so much a little bit more was appreciated!The ingredients are simple and pure - just the way we like it. Good egg noodles
I ordered these since one of my favorite recipes involves egg noodles and I have been unable to find them down here in Mexico. I could not believe the prices of some of the other noodles, who pays $20 for noodles? Anyway, these are good and get the job done. Recently, while dining out at a fine local Italian restaurant, I had the Pappardelle Bolognese. It was delicious. The sauce was terrific, but I had never had pappardalle before, and this pasta interacted with the sauce to wonderful effect. I decided that I had to purchase some pappardelle and serve it with my own meat sauce.I was happy to discover that the combination worked well together for me. And many are available with Amazon Prime.I single out pappardelle because, as the title says, this means gobble 'em up in Italian. These are not standard pasta. They are northern egg noodles. Broad and flat they know not tomato sauce. We have these with game. Wild Boar, hare or trout. Truffles. Butter. Shallots. Anchovy. Cracked pepper. Rosemary bruised and par boiled. Fall and winter.Cook gently, salt. No volcano of roiling water. Watch the pot. They cook quickly. Drain, but a kiss of their water stays with them. Note, these need careful packing and come in boxes half the normal weight. They are not cheap. But they are sublime.

1/3 cup white wine (I just used wine I had in the fridge, any type should do). 1/4 cup chopped parsley. Shrimp Scampi with Lemon Pappardelle Pasta (adapted from Cooking Light ). Ingredients:. Cook the Lemon Pappardelle Pasta according to directions. 1 teaspoon minced garlic (I used Trader Joe’s minced garlic). Top your pasta with shrimp, garnish with a little cheese (I chose goat cheese), add some vegetables if you choose, dig in, and enjoy.  Pour in the wine, season with salt and pepper  and sautee for an additional 1-2 minutes.  The end result was delicious, and  I highly recommend that you go buy a package of this pasta right away.
