This GeoTrax World Grand Prix RC playset allows you to bring the world of Cars 2 to life. RC Finn McMissle has easy-to-use forward or backward motion, and turbo speed RC action, making it twice as fast as any other GeoTrax vehicles! The excitement begins in Tokyo at the Minions garage, where Acer starts trouble by using a piece of flip track to toss spy Finn McMissle off the road! But not to worry -- at the Tokyo Pit Stop there is an Easy Rail that allows Finn to get back on track easily. Now the race pulls into Porto Corsa, Italy where Ace is waiting another trap -- this time by collapsing the bridge! But Finn McMissle, master spy, is fast enough to make it through thanks in part to his Turbo RC!
Fueled by Exploration and Imaginative Play
Preschoolers spend lots of time exploring and learning how to make things happen. Before long, they’re “engineers”, in control of the action. The more they do, the more they can do – whether playing alone or with others. They build their own interpretation of the story, taking it in many different directions. That sense of empowerment gets them on track for self-confidence, self-reliance, and creative thinking. And of course, the world of GeoTrax is based on teamwork, so kids are also learning about working together and helping each other. From there, they can go as far as their imaginations will take them!
Expand Your World
Let GeoTrax playsets help you build the world of Cars 2 to recreate favorite movie scenes. Crash through the Eiffel Tire, make a daring escape from Big Bentley and hear your favorite RC characters recite cool phrases. Collect all the GeoTrax Cars 2 playsets for a whole world of fun – it all works together! To build the complete world, add the following GeoTrax playsets to your collection: Escape from Big Bentley, Eiffel Tire Crash, Dirt Race Track Pack, Road Race Track Pack, RC Spy Mater, RC Francesco, and more!

Help your child recreate the world from the Cars 2 movie with the Pixar Cars 2 GeoTrax World Grand Prix RC Set. Designed for kids aged 2 to 7, this exciting racetrack set contains both the Finn McMissile and Acer cars, as well as track pieces that mimic scenes from the movie. The Finn McMissile car is remote controlled, allowing your child to learn about cause and effect while having fun. Your little one will enjoy running either car on or off the track. The track is easy to put together and take apart, making cleanup time more enjoyable.
Recreate the Excitement of Cars 2
The racetrack provides plenty of imaginative play options: kids can reenact scenes from the Cars 2 movie or make up their own scenarios with the track's accessories. With the camera twisted to the side, the collapsing bridge piece will toss Finn McMissile off the track, just like in the movie. The track piece by the Dumpster is also a danger zone, with a tilting track that can easily send a car tumbling sideways if the camera is turned to the left. Your child can also navigate the cars safely around the track by turning the cameras the correct direction.
Two of the platforms feature wheel grooves, offering a secure place for Acer to keep watch when he's not on the go. The garage also has a track spot for cars to rest and be repaired during play.
Create New Adventures with an RC Car
Remote controlled Finn McMissile runs forward and backward at turbo speed. He runs on the track and on hard, even surfaces. Just the right size for little hands, the remote control features a lever that commands Finn. It also features noises from the movie, including squealing tires as the car backs up and a voice that says "Keep him moving!" when it sends Finn forward.
While the car has an on/off switch, our testers were unable to turn the car off. The light remains on, but the car does not make noises or move while it is on unless directed by the remote control.
Snap-In Track Pieces Withstand Rough Play
The snap-apart track pieces are constructed of thick plastic that will withstand years of play. The buildings and start gate attach securely to the track from the get-go and stay put once they have been snapped in place.
The eight track pieces in the set can be quickly snapped together, making this track easy to set up and take apart. The connections are simple and attach securely to stay together during play.

OK for Toddlers... but nothing "Turbo" about this one...
This is a fun little starter "racing" set for toddlers... but you cannot actually race two cars with this set... and the one car that drives does so at a rather slow speed. The images on the package look impressive but generally are showing lots of parts you must buy at additional cost. Despite terms like "Grand Prix" and "Turbo" ... there is really nothing speedy about this toy... but would be fun for toddlers who have seen the Cars animated features...You will need to provide 6 AAA batteries to operate the controller and the one motorized car. The track isn't too hard to assemble for older children but you will have to help the toddlers. The car does not "race" at all... and the "tricks" like the "exploding" bridge are not that impressive or fun. They really just slow down the action even more. But much of the fun of toys is in the imagination ... so, those little ones who love the Cars movies will be imagining things and listening to the recorded messages from the cars... and...

Cute and easy to put together, but didn't hold his interest!
I got this for my 4 yr old son. He loves the "Cars" movies, so I figured he would like this. He was thrilled to get it, and wanted to set it up immediately. He was a little bummed when he realized the car included was NOT Lightning McQueen, but the silver spy car (my mistake on not catching that!).The track was very easy to set up, and just by looking at the picture on the box, I had it setup in 5 minutes. Of course, we had to scour the house looking for AAA batteries. He loved the remote control, and had fun with it for about 15 minutes. Then he put it down and went back to his Thomas the Train sets, which he'll play with for literally hours.Pros:Easy to click the parts together--even for little hands.Cute and works well.RC car remote is very easy for a 4 year old to use.Cons:Uses a ton of AAA batteries (6 I think). The Car doesn't have an on/off switch, so batteries run down fast. There is a button on top of...

A good basic race track for small children.
I'll spare you the "what's in the box" breakdown since the photos and description here on Amazon do a good job at describing that. One thing about the packaging that I didn't appreciate was the copious use of tape and wire twist-ties to keep things in place. Unpacking the pieces wasn't as painful or difficult as a typical clamshell package, but it was more difficult than it should be. Why is it that toy manufacturers still don't understand that kids like unboxing things too?I also point out that, at the time of this writing, Amazon's "product details" says that three AAA batteries are required *and included*, but of course the cake is a lie. Batteries are not included, plus you actually need SIX triple-A batteries (three for the car, three for the controller). That being said...My four year old daughter was excited when I pulled this out. Once everything was out of the box assembly took about ten minutes, including loading up the batteries in the car...
