Seems to work for me
I have started to lose enamel pretty bad since I was a teenager and I have needed something to help me keep the rest of what I have before it wears away. My teeth are very sensitive sometimes and so I bought this product. Although I don't personally notice a difference if it is helping or not as far as keeping my teeth protected, it hasn't left any stains on my teeth so far that others here have talked about. I admittedly only use it about once a week though. It is easy to use as you just put it on your toothbrush and brush for a minute and then spit. You don't eat anything for 30 minutes afterward to let it soak onto your teeth. So far I have been please. If you have ever used the fluoride trays you know how annoying that can get.. this is much more simple, and seems to have the exact same effect.

Gel Kam Floride treatment
I pruchase Gel Kam because my dentist recommeded it. I live in a rural area and drink non-fluoridated well water. I therefore need a fluoride supplement daily. Gel Kam seems to do the trick. This product is not always readily available in my area however Amazon has always come through for me. This product meets my daily needs and I am well pleased with it.

Flouride treatment.
This product was prescribed by my dental oncologist to prevent decay after receiving radiation to the mouth and neck area. It seems to work quite well at preventing/breaking down plaque. My six month cleaning is always quick and minimal. The hygenist always comments on how little plaque build up I have. I brush and floss every night, followed by use of the flouride trays with a bead of flouride in each. I leave the trays in my mouth for a minimum of 20 minutes (sometimes as long as one hour). The only down side of the flouride (besides being an inconvenience) is the taste. I have tried the berry flavor and that was awful. The mint is much better, but still leaves a lot to be desired.

SUGGESTED USE:Adults and children 12 years of age and older: Use after regular brushing and flossing. Shake excess water from your toothbrush and cover bristles with gel. Brush thoroughly. Keep on your teeth for 1 minute and then spit out. Do not swallow. Do not rinse, eat or drink for 30 minutes. Use once a day for cavity prevention. Use twice a day (morning and evening) for sensitivity relief or as recommended by a dentist or physician. Make sure all sensitive areas are covered by using a toothbrush or a cotton swab. It works.
First, I will let you know that I'm skeptical. I'm very picky, and I don't like stuff for the sake of liking it. I'm also not affiliated with any company.I had a problem with my gums for a long time. They were inflamed and would bleed every time I brushed them. I had the beginnings of periodontal disease. I was concerned that if I didn't do something about it, I'd have big problems. I searched for some anti-gingivitis products and found Periactil. I decided to try it, as its main ingredient is xylitol and it wasn't too pricey. I'm very happy I did. This is my third day of using the product, and my gums are pink and healthy looking for the first time in a long time.I use Periactil three times a day, which seems to be the right amount for me. You may need to use it more or less frequently depending on your needs.

Big Improvement in Dental Health
At the time of my most recent dental checkup, I had used Periactil for about five months. Usually my gums bleed during checkups, but not this time. Also, there was no indication of cavities starting! Wonderful! My dentist was thrilled! By contrast, my partner (who has not used the product) had gum disease requiring antibiotics. I use Periactil whenever I remember, so around 2-3 times per week. Even without daily use, this improvement was significant. Usually I've had problematic gums and "let's monitor this so it doesn't become a cavity" -- what a difference! Highly recommended!

Awesome stuff
After having my two babies my teeth always bleed so much everytime I would brush my teeth. Sometimes they would just bleed out of nowhere. I have been using this stuff for about 2 weeks now and only have a tiny amount of bleeding when I brush. My gums look really pink and healthy also. Love it!

Hard to find offline
My dentist recommended Gel-Kam to protect the tooth enamel exposed by my receding gums. For some reason the product was hard to find in brick-and-mortar drugstores, though as far as I know it's over the counter in the USA.The product is more liquid than a toothpaste, and has an unpleasant metallic smell. But it works well in reducing the sensitivity around the gumline so that you can brush that area more thoroughly.Regular use (every other day) stained my teeth gray. Cutting back to once a week seemed to provide the same benefits without this cosmetic detraction.

Excellent for adults looking for higher levels of fluoride
Colgate Gel-Kam seems to be an excellent choice for adults whose dentists recommend higher doses of fluoride. It contains the same 0.4% stannous fluoride strength as prescription topical applications such as OMNI gel (vs. regular Colgage toothpaste with .24% sodium fluoride). It can also be a good substitute for those who have undesirable reactions to the supposedly inactive toothpaste ingredient sodium lauryl sulfate, which irritates my palate, gums, and lips when exposed over a period of days or weeks. Gel-Kam is also less expensive than the prescription products available in my San Diego area.

Extremely Sensitive Dental Patient Still Happy After 10 Years!
My dentist recommended this to me for a very sensitive and exposed wisdom tooth root. It just took one application and I was hooked! It actually dissipated the pain and sensitivity and put me in a more tolerable zone. Now, 10 years later, I still reach for Gel Kam whenever I have a sensitivity issue with my teeth and gums. I am extremely sensitive by nature, hence my motto -- some people say, "No pain, no gain" but not me, I say, "No Pain - NO PAIN!!" And this product helps keep me pain free and smiling! Not flavorful but does the job
This item was recommended to me by my dental hygenist rather than paying for fluoride treatments every six months. The stuff works, definitely helps reduce sensitivity, but the flavor is weak...was hoping it would taste as good as the stuff you get in the dentist's office. Definitely a lot cheaper and you only need to use a little bit with each use.

Great results
I've brushed with sensodyne toothpaste for months suffering with frequent sensitivity despite my best efforts. My dentist basically told me there was nothing wrong with my teeth and that there was nothing he could do. After mere days of brushing with this product my sensitivity has seemingly completely disappeared, soups and tea no longer leave me cringing in pain and I can now enjoy the things I used to enjoy. If you've tried the usual suspects for sensitivity and have been let down give this stuff a shot, it really does work.The toothpaste itself is a little on the thin side but it certainly doesn't drip out the tube on it's own, just be careful about how you squeeze it so you don't get too much.

best toothpaste ever
I have fluorosis from too much fluoride as a child. I have tried all sorts of whitening products and they have helped slightly. But this toothpaste has whitened my teeth more than anything I've ever used. I don't ever remember my teeth being so white as they are now. Now, they don't just feel clean, they really look clean too. I have also not had a problem with sensitivity since using this toothpaste. I looked at several different toothpastes with NovaMin, and I tried this one because it doesn't have fluoride. I really like that. Without a doubt, this is the best toothpaste I've ever used!

Dr. Collins --you're the bomb!
I purchased this because i noticed my teeth were starting to look aged...transparent, kind of yellow. Also my teeth had recently become very sensitive to cold water which was worrying. After a week of using this toothpaste, I noticed that I was able to tolerate cold water. I'm coming to the end of my 1st tube now and have noticed my teeth does look a bit more white and less transparent and no longer sensitive.But the most shocking aspect was upon purchasing some tools to clean and look closely at my teeth in a 10x mirror at the same time I had purchased this toothpaste, I had noticed about 4-6 vertical hairline cracks running through my front teeth. I say 4-6 b/c I hadn't officially logged it and can't really remember where exactly they were....because they are no longer there!! If I look really closely, I can still see one faded line...but it looks like a fine sheet of glass has covered it. I don't care where its made, I'd use it anyway, but it says MADE IN USA!
