Work Best For Me
Plant spikes have been around for just about as long as house plants have. They are one of the oldest ways of fertilizing potted plants as there is going. (Someone with roots in their blood once told me that solid fertilizer preceded the liquid variety by quite a respectable amount of time. The liquid variety being easier, but not necessarily better). A lot of folks don't seem to use them anymore since liquid fertilizers mixed with your regular watering are so much easier. My own experience with both is that the solid, slow dissolving spikes last longer, feed the plant the nutrients more efficiently over the longer amount of time, and genuinely do a better job of giving your plants the extra boost of good stuff all house plants can use. I am not a horticulturist and certainly do not claim to know this is a fact over a reasonable theory. What I do know is I have some the biggest, richest, and healthiest house plants I have witnessed among my many peers that dabble in the home spun... Top to learn more

Helped our plants GROW
We ordered plants from a shopping network OVER a year ago. Unfortunately, the plants weren't growing AT ALL. We were about to toss them when we saw these spikes. The plants have been growing like crazy. Took us long enough but glad we bought them because they have really worked. We bought two of them this time around and in a few months we'll order more. A GREAT ORGANIC FERTILIZER
I have always been skeptical about organic fertilizers until now. This product is easy to use and produced the best tomatoes I have ever grown. No blossom rot and much less cracking of fruit. I will never go back to chemical fertilizer.

My Indoor Garden Loves It!
I had never tried this product before and was pleased with the results. Has a slight smell to it but only lasts 20 hours. My indoor garden veges and herbs are nice and green and starting to flower again. It is easy to use too.

Very effective & organic
We received this product quickly and it came exactly as expected. Within a week of applying this fertilizer to our tomato and squash plants they took off! Leaves got darker green, plants grew quickly and started flowering. We now have lots of small tomatoes so we decided to apply a second time (approx a month since the first time). We had the same results! Plants are healthy, green and growing like crazy. I would highly recommend this product.

Great stuff to get lots of green
This plant food will help your plants grow and get lots of green. However, if you are looking for blooms, once your plants get more mature, you will do better to cut the nitrogen and get more phosphorus.Miracle Gro Bloom Booster is the right formulation to feed already grown plants to get them to bloom often and with large blooms.I use both foods, but at different times of the year.The labels of each will give you the ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potash. I bought this for my house plants and it's more than I'll ever need. The tub is huge, and all I need is a little tiny scoop (it comes with the scoop) in a bucket of water. This can also be used with the Miracle-Gro garden feeder, which is actually a more appropriate use for this given the bulk size of the container.I have a tendency to neglect my plants, just water them now and then so they don't die. Every so often, I decide I'd better take better care of them and start feeding them Miracle-Gro. They start greening up the very next day. What a difference. Good product for peppers, house plants, etc BUT...
..... Buy this same thing at Wal-Mart for $8.95 Lowes sometimes has a good price too. My local Ace Hardware had this on special a while back for $7.99, don't know what it is now. In other words, if you only have a few plants-this will last forever and maybe the conv. of having it delivered is worth the price. But if you're like me and have more than a couple plants, pick it up when you're out and about.For any begining organic growers, this is fine stuff but its synthetic. But there is plenty of fairly reasonable, good organic fert. out there for you. DON'T be conned into over paying. I can't believe the $$$ some places charge for organic fert. Buy it locally
Although it's too early to tell how well this fertilizer works, it seems promising.A few things to keep in mind.* $8.99 is the local price. Buy it locally. After sales tax is still lower than Amazon.com price with free shipping.* Do not tear the bag. Use a pair of sharp scissors to cut the package open.* I practically have an orchard, so I do use up multiple bags at a time. Not having a resealable bag is not a problem. For the average user, a 'ziplock' bag would have been nice.* Stinks up the high heavens.* * *Our local hardware store puts these on sale at $7.99. I am sold on this product. There is a 'Fast Start' variety. I use it on my strawberry plants and for two years in a row, there is not much transplant shock and it helps them get established much quicker. The orange tree (Valencia) is now loaded with baseball-sized oranges. Sweet and flavorful, too, but I will have to attribute that to California sunshine. Top to learn more
Citrus Fertilizer
My poor indoor, potted lime tree had produced an abundance of limes the first year. However, last year, multitude of blossoms but all the lime "babies" dropped and I never got one lime. Great Results
I have a container grown dwarf Washington Naval orange that we bring inside in the winter. Last year we had maybe a dozen oranges set on this 3.5' tree (bush) using regular plant fertilizer. Found this organic citrus fertilizer and gave it a try back in early February. The tree has exploded with new growth and at last count there are over 40 !!! oranges set. Incredible. Used some on a tangerine tree (also container) and it has more new growth than ever before, and we've grown this one from a seed to a 6' tree.I highly recommend this fertilizer. Good Product
I had a lot of funky annoying weeds growing in my front lawn and it was starting to look the worst of the neighborhood! I applied this and it has been about 2/3 weeks and already it is looking A LOT BETTER! Weeds have reduced (still a few) and the grass is growing much better than before. My plants LOVE this stuff. They start shooting off leaves and flowers like crazy when I put it in. I withhold fertilizing in the fall and start watering with it again on the Spring Equinox. My office spider plant as been worse for wear after this winter and drooping and pale and generally looking sick. I decided to give it a bit of food early, and it's now very perky and dark green again in all of three days.It's easy to use and not messy and your plants will be beautiful. I've been buying this for years. If you've ever used Miracle Gro in your garden or on your shrubs, you know how fast and strong they become, and this works just as well on your houseplants.
