amazing popcorn
I've tried many brands of popcorn, and this one is the best, bar none. Fluffy, tender, and flavorful. It is far better than all the name brands. You won't waste your money on Orville after you've tried this!

Great Theater-like Popcorn
This is the best popcorn I have ever bought, outdoes Orville Redenbacker's popcorn in size and taste. It is also the cheapest at approx. $1.20/lb. It pops up really well in the microwave (avoid all plastic microwave containers). I use a 3 qt glass bowl with a glass plate on top as a lid. It fits loosely enough so that when I overfill it with popcorn, the popcorn can lift up the lid easily and let excess gas escape. Most popcorn is pressure-sensitive so that if there is too much popcorn in a bowl to pop, some kernels will not pop. Almost every kernel pops when I microwave on high in a 1500 watt microwave oven for about 5 1/2 min (about 1 1/2 TBLSP popcorn) and no added oil. In fact when I popped about 8 bowls of the popcorn (had to cool off bowl each time to avoid overheating the microwave and burning popped pieces), I found about 5 unpopped kernels in the bottom of the large paper bag. This popcorn outdoes all of the microwavable popcorn brands that you will see in...

Bye Bye WAY overpriced Supermarket Corn!
I regularly pop corn in a wok with canola oil. Nothing fancy, pops like a charm. My local supermarket chain (VONS) used to sell those old plastic bags of corn for like $2. You know -- those old fashioned bags that just sit there while everyone else buys all the microwave garbage.Well VONS slowly marked up these bags to about $3 over the years. Then one day they were all GONE. Replaced with Orville Reddenschmucker like 'jugs' of unpopped corn. Just under two pounds of corn for --- WAIT FOR IT -- $5.I have to pay MORE money and get more container but LESS corn?!? I don't THINK so...So I start surfing the web. My God -- some site was willing to sell me a 50 pound bag for like $18. My cheapness grinned ear to ear. Then I saw the shipping charge --- WAIT FOR IT -- $43. Yeah... no...So then I see this brand at Amazon. 12.5 pounds for $17. Shipping? FREE. And I don't have to store 50 pounds!Just over a dollar a pound...

Product Description

This report was created for global strategic planners who cannot be content with traditional methods of segmenting world markets. With the advent of a "borderless world", cities become a more important criteria in prioritizing markets, as opposed to regions, continents, or countries. This report covers the top 2000 cities in over 200 countries. It does so by reporting the estimated market size (in terms of latent demand) for each major city of the world. It then ranks these cities and reports them in terms of their size as a percent of the country where they are located, their geographic region (e.g. Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East, North America, Latin America), and the total world market.

In performing various economic analyses for its clients, I have been occasionally asked to investigate the market potential for various products and services across cities. The purpose of the studies is to understand the density of demand within a country and the extent to which a city might be used as a point of distribution within its region. From an economic perspective, however, a city does not represent a population within rigid geographical boundaries. To an economist or strategic planner, a city represents an area of dominant influence over markets in adjacent areas. This influence varies from one industry to another, but also from one period of time to another.

In what follows, I summarize the economic potential for the world's major cities for "wet process corn gluten feed" for the year 2011. The goal of this report is to report my findings on the real economic potential, or what an economist calls the latent demand, represented by a city when defined as an area of dominant influence. The reader needs to realize that latent demand may or may not represent real sales. Top to learn more

Buy Feed Corn

Iran to start big feed grain imports – India replaces China as Iran’s top oil client HAMBURG/LONDON: Iran’s government is expected to start buying hundreds of thousands of tons of feed grains as western sanctions are causing enormous disruption... “Logically Iran could be in the market for several hundred thousand tons of barley, corn and feed wheat, but no one can confirm this business, because of payment issues,” a trader said. They expect the Iranian government feed agency SLAL to step into international markets and start buying feed grains in the same way the state food agency GTC moved earlier this year to secure bread wheat supplies. “I have several Iranian buyers who are currently seeking a total of about 250,000 tons of feed wheat, corn and barley but I cannot sell it because I do not know how they will pay,” one European grains broker said. Direct imports to India from Iran were 433,000 barrels per day (bpd) in the first quarter compared with 256,000 bpd to China, according to data compiled by Geneva’s Petrologistics and seen by Reuters via an industry source.

“Initial reaction in grain markets indicate the combined reports could be the worst of two worlds for dairy farmers who buy feed, with both corn and soybean prices jumping substantially in the days following the reports. On the other hand, USDA said current inventories of corn are down 8% from a year ago, the reason corn futures prices were driven higher. USDA’s March milk-feed price ratio, an index comparing the relationship between milk prices and feed costs, fell to its lowest level since June of 2009, and these crop reports indicate dairy farmers won’t see any drastic improvement in that index... One the one hand, USDA indicated U. S. corn producers will plant a record-high 95.

Other traders said they estimated current Iranian feed grain purchase demand at between 200,000 to 300,000 tonnes of feed wheat, corn and barley. “I have several Iranian buyers who are currently seeking a total of about 250,000 tonnes of feed wheat, corn and barley but I cannot sell it because I do not know how they will pay,” one European grains broker said. “Logically Iran could be in the market for several hundred thousand tonnes of barley, corn and feed wheat, but no one can confirm this business, because of payment issues,” a trader said. Another trader said he had current inquiries from Iran for 50,000 tonnes of feed wheat as corn is more expensive. They expect the Iranian government feed agency SLAL to step into international markets and start buying feed grains in the same way the state food agency GTC moved earlier this year to secure bread wheat supplies. “The Iranian government seems to have solved its bread wheat problem but the poor harvest in the country at a time of political tension means it still has unresolved feed grain import requirements as the private-sector feed buyers have the same... Iran’s government is expected to start buying hundreds of thousands of tonnes of feed grains as western sanctions are causing enormous disruption to the financing of Iran’s imports, traders said on Thursday.

Four, the last two years saw measurable breaks after the April report  with  last year’s corn drop over $. 50 and beans $. 80. 3% discount to corn versus a five-year average of  a 41% premium to corn. Last year corn saw a  post April report low lead to a weather premium  high of a 1. As of Wednesday’s close corn broke $. 34 off the Monday pre-report high, beans $. 40 off its Monday high and wheat $. 29 lower. Once were 35 to 40% planted  the crop condition report for corn and beans will come out and weather’s impact on emergence becomes 90% of our pricing influence. Mexico continues to replenish drought drained reserves with US corn at 295 t. m. t. versus 267 last week, and China 60 t. m. t. versus 394 the week prior. The break in wheat prices and corn strength has wheat at a 1. No beans were reported as of April, 9 but corn came in at 7% seeded versus the 10 year average of 3%. Weekly export sales Thursday shows 959 t. m. t. of corn was sold last week up 2% from the week prior. After three down days in corn and beans Thursday rebounded with gains off  the overall bullish export news and Friday we started off sharply lower. This year cycle sets up very strong due to extremely tight corn and bean ending stocks. Reason were ahead of pace is  the generally warmer and drier than normal weather across the Midwest grain belt where 85% of our corn and beans call home. Corn ending stocks were 801 million bushels, unchanged from the month prior. Entering Friday,  May corn first support is 6. Monday’s crop condition report showed an improving winter wheat crop at 61% good to excellent up 3% from the week prior and 32% over last year’s disaster. On my last report, last Thursday I gave the reason why we should expect a breaking in prices after the report. Wheat carryover was put at 793 m. b. down 32 from last month largely on wheat to feed usage increases. Any weather problem with the new crop and old crop demand will jump sharply as importers buy coverage as insurance. Asian markets more concerned about quantity and value over quality are buying up all the low-quality feed wheat. Well, with three government reports in the last 30 days, we now won’t have the influence of any pending USDA report until May 10 or a month away.
