Who Should and Shouldn't Buy This!
Customer Video Review Length:: 5:18 MinsI have used Photoshop Elements since version 2 and I strongly believe it is the best photo-editing program available for under $100. It will do most of the editing tasks that the full version of Photoshop does but at a fraction of the cost. It is the software I have my "Digital Photography" and "Digital Drawing and Painting" students use for the college courses I teach. If you are serious or semi-serious about editing your photos I highly recommend that you purchase this. In addition, an important advantage of learning (and using) Elements is that if you decide to someday move up to the full version of Photoshop all the stuff you learned translates to the more expensive program. Also, there is a TON of instructional material available online (most of it free!) and in books that will help you learn this program. It's an Excellent Software for the Price
I am a user of Photoshop Elements. I downgraded from Photoshop CS(x) as I no longer needed such a powerful program. Adobe Elements offers all of the features that most home users want or need. I have given it four stars instead of five because I think the Help component is lacking. As to the other reviewer who gave this program 1 star, I have to point out that Adobe Photoshop Elements is NOT movie editing software. It is photo editing software. Perhaps she was referring to Adobe Premiere Elements, which is a movie editing software application.

Worth every penny!
The best digital picture/video software ever! I am totally amazed at the ease of use and speed at which these programs operate. For years, I have just used the software that came with my camera or camcorder (which stayed frozen up over half the time). Never again! I can't believe I let myself miss out on something this great for so many years. Both programs have an option of tutorial mode, which explains in detail (when you mouse over something) what each option does. I was afraid that I would not be able to figure out how to use it on my own, but it is extremely user friendly. It even has youtube, facebook, email options etc. which make it a breeze to upload pictures or videos. I can't wait until I have time to really explore all the editing tools. My only regret is not purchasing this years ago!

Works great for HD Video
I had version 8 and it was miserable at processing HD Video. The new version 10 on the same hardware can do the HD Video smoothly. My new HD camera is now more useful than ever. Processing even the top setting 1080P video is now an option. Processing time for a 90 minute DVD dropped from overnight to about 2 hours on the same corei7 laptop.

Functiionality is nice, but Adobe makes it annoying to upgrade
I use Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Premiere/Photoshop Elements and have used them for many years. I upgrade every couple of releases depending upon feature enhancements and budget. It seems like every time I move to a new version, Adobe does it best to inhibit you from just using the product. Besides the migration of catalogs, projects, etc., you end up having to reconfigure the software to get it back to how you want it to work (facial recognition was off in version 8 and I want it off in version 10). And, you have to put up with numerous re-registrations, "would you like to participate in..." and sales pitches. Then, to make matters worse, you have these weird bugs that crop up in new versions...right now with APE 10, software is crashing for no reason, the quick selection tool is only allowing "negative selections" Oh, and did I mention the features they take away that they then try to resell to you in either a "premium" service or...

Works Perfectly
i bought this because i got tired of taking the SD card out of the camera every time i was finished taking pictures. i was a little skeptical about how well it would really work but i gotta say i'm impressed. i use a Mac and the software install was a breeze, if you are in range of your wireless network every picture you take is individually sent to the computer within 3-5 seconds. if you are away from your wireless network simply power on the camera when you get home and all the pics are uploaded instantly. as soon as i open iphoto it instantly imports all the photos and they are ready to view. this definitely makes my picture taking much easier !!!

Works as advertised, but I had a few unexpected surprises
Product works exactly as advertised, and is very convenient to have and I'm glad I bought it. It's easy to configure and exceptionally easy to use. But I have two gripes about issues that I didn't discover until after I got it (but which are well-documented on Eye-Fi's website): 1) With my camera (a Nikon D40), the camera won't leave the power on to the card long enough after a picture is taken, so the pictures don't get uploaded. The workaround is easy - turn the camera off and back on. But it's annoying to have to remember to do that, because that's the point of the card - to not have to think about it. (Of course, this is really Nikon's fault, not Eye-Fi's, but it affects me nonetheless.) 2) The Eye-Fi has a feature that lets it upload both to a home computer and to a website (like Flickr or SmugMug). I knew that the Eye-Fi supported doing the uploads also to an FTP site, and I planned on using that feature to let it upload pictures to...

I LOVE IT! Except....
I bought this because I take a LOT of pictures. I was afraid I would break the little tab that keeps my battery door closed because I am always taking the SD card out and putting it in my computer! The other problem is that I would often leave the SD card in the computer and wouldn't have any storage when I went out. The Eye-fi card eliminates these problems. Exactly what I wanted it for. The ONLY problem I have is that it won't let me take video in the Eye-fi sd card. This is a problem, because if I want to take video I have to put another SD card in, which is not convenient! So, if you don't take video with your camera, then the Eye-fi does exactly what it says it does and it's fantastic. Another nice feature is that the EYE fi lets you pick pictures you want to automatically share on your Facebook or other social networking site. Something I will take advantage of soon.

Came in time for Christmas!!
I bought this item to give as a gift for Christmas. It was shipped and delivered in less than a week, which was fantastic not worrying whether it would get here in time. It was a great price and I am very happy with the quality of the pictures. It has a slight delay from the moment you click the top and it takes the picture but it's still better than some cameras I've had. This is a great starter camera, particularly for a teenager which is the one that received it.

Love it
I had some issues when I 1st installed this, it may because I'm using Froyo. I went to Handmark site & got another version. I think what I have now is the old "Flow" version. If the Amazon version is updated & improved, it has to be perfect. I just LOVE the share ability & am not sure why but Youtube videos load much quicker & play better. I really suggest you try this.
