long long time of fun
i bought this item for my slash 1/16 4x4.when running on one battery it would not last that long, but with this adapter i can double my run time with two batteries. yaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh! also my dog loves it too. the end. Top to learn more

this product is a quick, inexpensive, easy way to greatly increase your run time for the vehicle. I have discovered that it requires a little tucking of the wires to keep them under the body on my e-revo 1/16. when running Lipo's I had a problem with wires working their way out from under the body and rubbing against the tires. I did eventually eliminate this problem with careful routing of the wires by the motor wires, but that eventually led to one of the motor wires coming undone during use. I then began using velcro on the battery doors to hold the body down which had an unexpected side effect of keeping the battery wires in the car thus eliminating the problem. Top to learn more

What a buy!
Starting with HobbySoup: The product didn't say what scale it was anywhere in the description. (which is 1:10) I used the contact seller option and was replied to very quickly. The individual that replied was very courteous and thanked me for bringing that to their attention. Order processing was lightning fast. No longer than an hour and a half after placing the order...I received a confirmation email saying that my item had shipped. The E-Revo: Out of the box it is a nice little truck. Well...not so little. But also not as fast as I thought it would be. It comes ready to run...with a little juice in the batteries...maybe 10-15min of play...you just have to provide 4 AA batteries for the radio. There is no charger...but I already knew that. One would think that for the amount of money spent...it would come with one! Bad Traxxas! My neighbor brought over two 7V Lipo batteries once I wore out the stock ones. I also have a 2 pack of the Tenergy 1400mAp NIHM & these traxxas batteries are better. These have MUCH better run times & better lower end speed acceleration over the Tenergy NiMH. Running a 1/16 traxxas summit on lose gravel with stock gearing. Top to learn more

Just Awesome!!! Don't let the word mini mislead you this is FaST. Buy Lipo batteries you will not regret using it
Fast, fun, high tech. The best car ever. Ready to race, this is a super fast mini car that will amaze anyone. Very easy to use, good packaging. The only problem that I see is that I have no idea why are they including those ridiculous NiHM batteries. Don't waste your money and buy the Lipo at least 2000mh. You will thank me for this advice. Lipo batteries will make your car go faster than ever and you will be able to do more tricks with it for a longer period of time than with the regular NiHM batteries. And the best thing is that Lipo 2000mh cost the same as a NiHM battery. You will need just special precautions and care to use these type of batteries but just read the instructions and you should not have any problems. I will recommend also to buy a charger for Lipo and NiHM since you will have one NiHM battery that comes included with the car (although I really think that traxxas should make standard the Lipo batteries instead of the NiHM batteries. Best battery RC car
Great RC car! I'll try giving the details to this car. If you are buying electric and looking for a good price the Revo VXL is the one. Although small enough to hold in one hand this is a fast car. The car can go to 30MPH with stock battery which is the 7.2V 1200mAh. The stock charger is an overnight charger which takes about 6 hours, but you should seriously get a fast charger. Basically 1.2 amp charger will charge this 1200mAh in 1 hour. So 1 amp per 1000mAh battery. But be safe and don't over amp charge it. So the question I always had was, how long does the battery last? Well, it lasts about 10-12 min on average use. After some research I concluded that basically for every 100mAh of battery = 1 min run time. So for example a 1200mAh = 12 min run time. In terms of the highest battery I know of as of today NIMH is the 1600mAh and if you use the parallel adapter and connect two batteries you will double your run time so 2 1600mAh batteries will give approx. 30 min run... Just got back into the hobby after a 6 year absence. Most of my background was in either touring cars or in mini (1/18 or smaller) scales. Never did much with offroad just due to the location of where I live, though I did build a Stampede in the early 2000's. About a month ago on a whim I bought a Losi Mini LST2 LE. Fun little truck indoors and all, and definitely love the looks. I wanted a bit more capability and speed. Was originally going to get a Mini Slash VXL, but after some reading, decided to get the Mini E-Revo VXL for handling. Decided to also pick up two 2s LiPo packs since I've had good luck with LiPo on my MLST2 and R/C Heli. Couldn't resist getting a 3s pack as well. First thing I did was slap the included NiMH pack onto my charger and perused the manual. I have to say that Traxxas makes some awesome manuals, everything was easy enough to find and figure out.
