Cheap solution for beloved glass
I have a pint glass I bought on vacation which got chipped somehow. I bought this file and wore the sharp chipped edges of the glass down, and though there's a small dip around the glass's rim from filing, the glass is smooth and usable. Much better than having to throw it away! I recommend this item.

As such, this file is hard enough to repair any delicate material, including other glassware, china, or ceramic goods. A few light strokes over the chip with the moistened file safely smoothes jagged edges. The round side takes care of dips in the glass or ceramic and the flat side sands down sharp corners. The file is embedded in a faceted faux-crystal 4-inch handle that is comfortable to hold during use. Will $40 phone cover protect it 8x better from scratches than generic well-made $5 case? No it won't. That's the reason why I chose this cover to replace my other $6.95 case made by MiniSuit, which is still in excellent condition, but started to bore me a little bit. What I like about this one is that it's thin, and fits my iPhone perfectly. I like low-key items, and this item suits my taste. The back of the case imitates real iphone casing with apple logo name, and all symbols.The only downside about the case is that it looks like it survived a war just after one week of using. This stuff is great!
I'd heard about Museam Putty, but had trouble finding it, and I wanted something I could use with my cut crystal and emerald glass collection. The gel is perfect! Very little holds the item tight to the shelf and makes dusting a far less difficult task! The gel is not designed for wood shelves, but I tested it and it left no mark at all.
