It's not just for dogs!

It's way better than any other canned pumpkin on the market
I buy canned pumpkins regularly because my cat craves for them. Used to buy these from Whole Foods but somehow they stopped filling the racks. You just can't buy other kinds of canned pumpkin with this kind of quality. It's not watery, not sweetened, and no other ingredients added.

Great organic product!
This is the only organic pumpkin I have been able to find on the market. Great quality and taste. Less water than non-organic pumpkin puree, so I do need to stir it in a seperate bowl before adding to my dry baking ingredients. We love this product!

As advertised
The pumpkin was exactly as advertised. I actually bought it for my dogs, because we add pumpkin to their food daily...high fiber, low fat, very filling. (Only PURE pumpkin for dogs...cannot have ANY additional ingredients! One dog has a propensity towards being overweight. I ordered this particular pumpkin because it was available in quantity, and I found my local supermarkets to be all out of pumpkin by late summer. (A shortage or something......) It was shipped within a reasonable timeframe, wrapped carefully, and met my needs perfectly.

organic pumpkin review
We were very pleased to find this item online, as it is extremely difficult to find canned pumpkin most of the year, at least in our area. In addition, we had purchased this exact same brand of pumpkin previously in a local store, and it was over three times more expensive than what we paid online.The pumpkin we received is different in texture (much more grainy) than we expected. The taste is o.k., and overall it is usable; however, we believe that the noticeable difference in texture is the reason why these particular cans were so inexpensive.

Helps the Dachshund Plumbing!
My dachshund is a mile long and he was having serious (literally life-threatening) plumbing problems. What went in the front wasn't coming out the back, and he was obviously in pain. My vet suggested pumpkin puree, an all natural product, but it was nowhere in the grocery stores! I turned to Amazon, my reliable source for so many things... and there it was. I like this product although it took a few days for my dog to accept the new taste (but he's finicky). Now he eats it with no fuss. I have to give him a lot more than the recommended dose, about two heaping teaspoons per feeding, and I make sure he poops every morning at the same time and at night at the same time. I also cut back on his dog food in general, which is good quality, and I make sure he gets exercise. Now he is regular and all is good! I credit Nummy for saving my dog's life. Thanks Nummy-makers!!

2 Doxies Love Love This Product!!!!!!
I got a case of Sweet Potato, to add to my dogs diet dog food. Since we all know most doxies love to eat and are over weight. It is very good for them plus you only have to give them a little bit with their other food, and it makes them feel full, but yet the are eating less. It also good for their digestion system.

Spicy, dark and delicious!
My case arrived in fine condition. Perhaps they've fixed the shipping problem permanently. Note that most of the low marks that drag ratings for this down are re shipping problems, not the product.I use this as a base for smoothies - it's fast, flavorful and high in fiber - and organic, too!

Quality organic pie mix
The product is very good, it has a nice spiced pumpkin taste and solid consistency (many canned pumpkin pie are runny). I can eat this right out of the can, but as it is pretty sweet would make a great parfait. None of the cans were dented and had fairly far off sell by date.

Pumpkin goes in my butternut squash soup if I want, and squash goes in pumpkin-chocolate chip bread for the same. there are differences and a spaghetti squash will not go into a pumpkin pie, even if I were a pumpkin pie eater. There are three varieties of winter squashes: Cucurbita pepo I don't care what kind of winter squash it is, but I just don't agree that the flavour of canned pumpkin is the same as fresh/frozen. No canned pumpkin in the grocery stores there. It turns out that some canned pumpkin is actually &ndash. A lot of professional and home chefs swear by canned pumpkin for its convenience and consistent flavor and texture. Some manufacturers make "pumpkin" puree from one or more kinds of winter squashes such as butternut, Hubbard, and Boston Marrow, which can be less stringy and richer in sweetness and color. But before we start crying fraud, it is interesting to note the rather fuzzy distinction between pumpkins and squashes. I make my own pumpkin puree by halving, scooping out the seeds/guts, and roasting (cut side up) at 400 for ~30 min. In some languages, there's only one word and it encompasses both what we in America know as pumpkin and squash. The distinction between pumpkin and squash is pretty fuzzy. for my purposes, squash and pumpkin are interchangeable. Not *all* squash, and not *all* pumpkins, mind you.

Scrumptious Pumpkin Bread Recipe With Canned Pumpkin Go ahead and take canned pumpkin and boil it in water for any couple of minutes until it's tender. Add some prepared pumpkin puree and blend well to produce a batter that's smooth and slightly orange colored. 500 grams canned pumpkin. Take away the pumpkin pieces from water and include a blender. 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour. Add this mix towards the prepared mix, one tablespoon at any given time, and blend well at medium speed.
