First grader loves these LPS doll and pet sets
My first grader and some of her friends are great fans of the Littlest Pet Shop range of toys, and among their favorites are the Blythe dolls. For some reason, the dolls are all called Blythe, but it doesn't matter, we go ahead and rename them anyway:)This series is called the Pet Sitters series and the difference is that the Blythe dolls come with a pet. The adorable doll, complete with a fashionable beret comes with her own little pet, several small accessories, and a larger comb to brush those lustrous locks!The beret is removable which is great as my daughter likes to swap accessories on her dolls, and the shoes are easy to take off yet don't fall off easily (unlike some other brand dolls), so I don't imagine those shoes getting lost anytime soon, phew! The clothes can be removed, with some effort.Now the downside to these dolls is that they are not able to stand on their own, but the dolls do each come with a little stand that helps owners prop...

Adorable!
My three and a half year old daughter got one of these for Christmas. I was about as thrilled as she was when I saw none other than BLYTHE with the LPS critters! She loves this doll and has been carrying it around, having it play with her LPS animals and her Strawberry shortcakes. It is a well-made figure and very, very cute. I will probably get her another from this line to put in her Easter basket now that I know about them.

Blythe Makes Us Blithe!
We discovered Blythe dolls a couple years ago, after being exposed to them through Gina Garan's book of Blythe photos, which I purchased here at Amazon. They are so sweet, but we cannot afford the remake, the minis, and especially not the Kenner originals, so these are a Higher-Being-send to us. Anyway, I wanted to add my two cents about these lovely sets as soon as possible, and try to help clear up certain issues. I have read and/or skimmed every review on these sets. Here goes:1. I will agree that the cardboard pic of the wardrobe in the box is misleading, but I concluded that it was too good to be true. To verify this, I looked at pics of all the other sets and determined that it was indeed just a piece of cardboard. (If you look at the box in person, the wardrobe includes about seventeen pieces, and some are doubles...really weird that Hasbro didn't go all out for the photo.)2. Pleasantly Surprised
I gave this set to my four-year-old niece. It immediately inspired an imagination game and prompted a certain amount of looking through the catalog for "friends" for her new doll and pet. The shoes will be lost within the week, and I am not sure a four-year-old has the dexterity for the tiny clothes, but for a slightly older child, I'd say this is a really great item. Price is great for a birthday gift.I am an adult doll collector and have several Pullip, Blythe and other "big-headed" dolls, so I was interested in the quality and design of this toy for reasons beyond it looking cool for my niece.The Blythe doll is surprisingly well-made for such an inexpensive price. Her little shoes come off, the dress has a velcro back and can also be removed. The headband is super-cute and fits well. The doll is only articulated at the neck (swivel neck), shoulders and hips, but she has a very expressive face and so even her limited movement can create some very endearing poses...

Ooh-La-La!
So exquisite! Here's the deal:Hair: Just like in above pic. Do not pay attention to Hasbro pics- she has had some pro stylin' done.Eyes: Just like above pic. They look more greenish in Hasbro pics on the outside of the box...I guess they were doctored for the Hasbro pics, because when I checked out the doll's eyes in the sunlight, I did not notice any green flecks at all. Do not get me wrong- the eyes somehow do have a slight green cast to them in certain lighting situations. They remind me of a lake on a fall day.Outfit: Easy to get on, has velcro at back.Shoes: Easy to get on, but fall off easily, unlike our other Blythe dolls' shoes.Necklace: Looks like it can be removed, but we have decided to leave it on, unless my younger daughter gets to it somehow. Wish it was iridescent. Will update this review if necklace comes off and report if it is easy or not easy to get back on doll.Accessories: All accessories fit...

My daughter loves this doll
This item arrived on time and in great condition. When my daughter opened it yesterday on Christmas it was her favorite gift. It has lots of small pieces, but seems to be durable and will stand up to time. This doll's shoes are very small so beware if you have small children. We have put the shoes away until later because I could see them getting lost very quickly. Overall, an excellent product and I would purchase from here again.

This LPS pet sitter set comes with a fun vehicle!
It's that time of year again when moms like me are searching for perfect little stocking stuffers for their little ones. My first grader and some of her friends are great fans of the Littlest Pet Shop range of toys, and among their favorites are the Blythe dolls. For some reason, the dolls are all called Blythe, but it doesn't matter, we go ahead and rename them anyway:)This series is called the Pet Sitters series and the difference is that the Blythe dolls come with a pet. The adorable doll, complete with a little helmet comes with her own little pet, a larger comb to brush her hair, a super cool scooter with siderider seat, and tons of tiny accessories (which let's face it, will inevitably get lost/misplaced). But this set is worth it for the doll, pet, and vehicle. The helmet is removable (actually is is sewed on but can be snipped off) which is great as my daughter likes to swap accessories on her dolls, and the shoes are easy to take off yet don't fall off easily...

Great little toy!
Written by Greta, age 7.I got this for Christmas 2010. The blythe doll is about 4 inches tall, it has a cute dress, cute shoes, and very soft and beautiful hair. The scooter has a basket on the handlebars that you can put stuff in. But the basket is removable. Overall, I think this is a great toy.

Turn Around, Bright Eyes
Blythe is such a breath of fresh air in the affordable, every-day-folks-buyin' division of dolls. Her price is a bit steep, but at least she comes with accessories, unlike the Kelly doll that I saw in Target yesterday. Kelly was a bit steep herself, but all she had goin' for her was a Valentine theme, a vacant look, and a dull smile. You can see in the pic what this Blythe comes with. Her headband, clothes, and shoes are removable. The shoes fit snugly and just appear to be "open" sandals- the shoes are actually one, continuous piece of soft rubber with some flesh-colored paint; thus, the shoes are easier to put on the doll. The basket does open at either end, but opens stiffly and then does not exactly close with a satisfying "snap!". If you receive a lemon basket, I believe that it will one day always remain slightly open due to small children constantly putting errant "Hi Ho! Cherry-O!" cherries in it. This is trivial to me, so I will not take an overall star away, but I will take...

Very cute - perfect for LPS fans
These little dolls are adorable. I can't believe that they didn't come out with these earlier. We probably have a hundred LPS so I knew these would be a hit at Christmas. The doll is perfect for my 6 year old - her head isn't too big for her body, etc. I will say that she has a bit more cleavage than a little girl (I mean - they are supposed to be replica's of little girls right???) should have but it's not extremely noticeable since the doll is so small. I noticed it but any girl that is used to playing with Barbies won't (even though I'm pretty sure that Staci doesn't have cleavage). These were marked half off when I purchased them so I picked up 5 or 6 to use as bday presents and I feel comfortable giving them to our friends - very cute idea!
