Stunning!
I bought this trunk and the matching sofa table at Levin's furniture. Oddly, I had viewed this picture online and didn't think much of it. However while shopping at Levin my husband and I fell instantly in love with the set. It is GORGEOUS in person. There is such elegant detail that did not translate in these pictures. It was a sturdy solid set. It is also more expensive at Levin's (of course) but we bought it there to avoid shipping issues and for their warranty. I would absolutely recommend this set. Looks very good, but slide top could be better
One side of the top slides too easily. Cats constant open it when they jump on it. It opens by accident all the time in use as well. Overall... its a nice table, but the top is not at all inconspicuous as I would like it to be. It is a little too obvious how it opens and the doors have a slight twist to them when closed... like the slide mechanisms are a little tweaked. If they had used better slide hardware, this would have been worth a little more money IMO, and it would have gotten 5 stars. I may try to replace it with some really nice hardware in the future.The build quality otherwise is very very good. Came pre-assembled, only had to screw legs on. Top to learn more

Table
The table itself is very nice. Casual enough for my everyday, and elegant when I need it to be for hosting and to decorate for holidays! I have a 4 yr old, 2 yr, old, and an infant, the table is heavy enough the toddlers can't tip it and wide enough to serve two couches without being in the other's "space". PAIN IN THE REAR to get out of box though!! And mess-y with the styrofoam, geez. Top to learn more

Great buy, but don't expect perfection
I saw this in a showroom of a furniture store, it was a great fit for our living room because metal studs matched our sofa. The top surface is great: classy, yet durable enough to set drinks on. However, be aware that the construction is somewhat mediocre. One or two of the holes used to bolt the thing together were a little skewed, which made assembly slightly more difficult.
